LOCAL PATHOLOGIST APPOINTED TO GUEST FACULTY
Wilmington, North Carolina: January 30, 2004 – Dr. Gregory S. Henderson, MD, PhD has recently been named to the guest faculty of the Medical University of South Carolina. As a result of this appointment, Dr. Henderson will be educating pathologists from all over the country about the most advanced techniques in cervical cancer detection. Dr. Henderson joined Wilmington Pathology Associates in 1998 and is Board Certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. His specialty areas of expertise are in Gynecologic Pathology, Breast Pathology and Immunology.
Dr. Henderson earned his medical degree and Ph.D., at Vanderbilt
University School of Medicine in Nashville as an NIH Medical
Scientist Training Program Fellow. Dr. Henderson completed
his clinical pathology residency training at the University
of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City and anatomic
pathology training at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore,
Maryland. He completed his fellowship at Vanderbilt University
Medical Center specializing in breast and gynecologic pathology.
